A Conceptual Trilogy Between Light and Darkness
PROTOGONOS is more than just a Metal band — it’s a multidimensional artistic project. At the crossroads of modern Metal, symbolic storytelling, and human introspection, the band offers an immersive musical experience built around an ambitious triptych: Fears (2025), Beliefs (2026), and a final self-titled album Protogonos set for release in 2027, marking the band’s 10-year anniversary.
Conceived as an initiatory journey, this trilogy explores the core tensions between fear and belief — tensions that a mythological figure observes and listens to before weighing them in the final chapter.
Each part functions as a veil being lifted, gradually revealing the shape of an entity that inhabits the world of PROTOGONOS. An ancient, silent presence, perpetually watching. It does not reveal itself. Not yet.
Through this triptych, PROTOGONOS crafts a coherent, multidisciplinary universe in which each release stands as a full-fledged narrative and visual chapter. The music is both raw and refined, driven by modern production and a rare attention to detail in today’s alternative Metal scene.
